Check out some of the Seaside Ice staff celebrating at an employee party. We not only make it fun for everyone else - we love to skate on the beach, too! (Even Ruben got on the ice for this one:)
The iceman on his ride......
Unbelievable how cool these were.....and by the way, do not try to tackle them.
Here's a funny one....who's trying to get to the other side, Dudley or Wayne?
As the warm afternoon sun shone on Seaside Lagoon, Tom Kearney and Scott Williams rushed around, cell phones in hand, readying the Redondo Beach swimming hole for its latest venture. Read on...
I just got back from the kick-off of Seaside Ice at Seaside Lagoon and have to say that it was amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect but the rink looked great and to see the sun setting in the background was incredible. There is a very nice grandstand where you can sit and watch the skaters, plus there is a place to get food if you get hungry. Seeing a rink in the middle of Seaside Lagoon is a bit of a trip but definitely worth checking out. The organizers really put together a quality event that you've got to bring your friends to. See you there!
It was a great opening night. My 6-year-old daughter, Sara, was determined to learn to skate tonight. She and her brother had such a good time, we ended up staying until the very end. I grew up swimming in the Redondo pier horseshoe, and never imagined that one day I'd be ice skating at the lagoon!

What a wonderful undertaking! I had heard about Seaside Ice and it fulfilled my expectations all the way. To have an ice rink overlooking the ocean at sunset , yet - Nothing short of magical! We got some burgers at Ruby's and skated to some great 'ol tunes. We will be back with family from out of town and may even have our corporation holiday party there. My daughter's last comment as we left was , "Can we go back tomorrow?".

The party info as opposed to the private party info page isn't loading. Also, on the packages listed on the private party page, it says $600 skating for up to 100 people but then at the bottom it says skating rental not included. Can you update the website so we have the right information? Thank you!

Thanks for the heads up "Party inquiry"... I believe that the pages in question have been corrected. For group and private party info you can also contact Azumi Williams directly... 310-927-8311

Since Seaside Ice is going to be held in Seaside Lagoon, it will be easy for groups to hold events, parties and gatherings. Whether it's a youth group or sports team, young kids will have a great time skating together and getting the opportunity to enjoy an ice rink right next to the Pacific Ocean. This could also be an excellent venue for companies who want to give their attendees something they'll never forget. Just think of all the great team-building activities you can do with an ice rink!
It will be great to see all the different community groups out there this winter having fun on the ice! I'm going to bring my volleyball team out so we can bond and let the kids do something that can't do everyday. See you out there!
